Tribal students’ hostel was the first established Aayam of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram when Late Shri Balasaheb Deshpande started the first Tribal hostel in Jashpur in 1952. Today, the Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram operates 233 boys’ and girls’ hostels across India.
